Sarah Mckenna and Danielle Waterman return for England for the penultimate leg of the World Rugby HSBC Women’s Sevens Series in Langford this weekend.
The side finish third in Atlanta last weekend, beating Series leaders Australia in their opening game.
Drawn in Pool C, England face Canada, Ireland and Japan in the opening rounds on Saturday which are broadcast live on worldrugby.org. Sunday’s play offs, which kick off at 6pm BST, will be available via Sky Sports 3 from 11:55pm.
“We were pleased with the consistency of their performance in Atlanta,” said coach Simon Middleton.
“Any draw is a tough one in the series, we know that Canada will come out fighting to make amends for the Atlanta final and we’ll be ready for that.”
Middleton also urged his side to improve ahead of this weekend’s action in Canada.
“There are things we can improve from last time and losing to New Zealand in the semi-final was obviously disappointing,” he said.
“Atlanta was a great 12-girl squad effort, which is going to be the critical factor over all our remaining tournaments, including Rio.”
